Congratulations to our Windsor Program faculty and students on a successful Dunks for Dialysis event! The charity basketball game raised over $30,000 for the Care for Kidneys Foundation.

More than 300 fans came out on March 30 to watch the student team, coached by Dr. Mark Awuku, take on the faculty team, coached by David Musyj, CEO of Windsor Regional Hospital.

The faculty team came from behind to take the game, winning 55-45.

“The medical students took a quick and strong lead over the Doctors but with some bold, and some may say biased, referee calls the Doctors were able to pull ahead,” said Dr. Albert Kadri, medical director of the Renal Program at Windsor Regional Hospital and event organizer. “All in all, it was a great day and everyone really enjoyed themselves.”
