We extend our congratulations to our students who achieved success in the first round of the match.
The CaRMS match results were shared with our students from the Undergraduate Medical Education program at noon today on March 5. The overall residency match results are consistent with previous classes. While our School’s students matched to some of the most competitive programs across the country, we were pleased to retain the majority in Ontario.
Of our 171 Schulich Medicine & Dentistry students in the CaRMS match, 163 matched (more than 95 per cent).
Of the total matched:
“We would like to congratulate the students of Meds 2014 on their success in the match. We will be supporting the remaining students in the second iteration of the CaRMS process.” said Dr. Gary Tithecott, associate dean, Undergraduate Medical Education. “What we have seen this year is a strong link between the School’s value of social responsibility and the CaRMS match. Students are considering societal needs when pursuing their medical careers.”
