Medical students in 3rd and 4th year are invited to participate in a study that is
being conducted by Dr. Richard Cherry, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, at the
Centre for Surgical Technology and Robotics (CSTAR).
This study will explore attitudes relating to risk and how these may guide actions in a simulated
medical emergency in the simulator.
Participation will involve completion of questionnaires and managing two medical
emergencies in the simulator. The research will be conducted at CSTAR, 6th floor University
Hospital and involve approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of your time or less.
