The Office of the Ombudsperson at Western provides a safe, confidential environment in which students can discuss a University-related problem or concern. It provides general information about University resources, procedures, rules, and students' rights and responsibilities.
The Ombudsperson and the Associate Ombudsperson can suggest approaches and problem-solving strategies for resolving student concerns and managing conflicts. The service, which is available to all Western students is free, confidential, and impartial, operating independently of all other departments and offices.
