November 27, 2015 Dr. Dale Ziter, MD'82, received the Regional Family Physician of the Year Award, presented by the Ontario College of Family Physicians. After 33 years, the beloved physician and teacher still loves getting up in the morning, going to work, looking after his patients and teaching. For Dr. Ziter – it’s a good thing.
October 28, 2015 The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry has received full accreditation status for eight years for its UME program. We are proud of the eight-year accreditation status that was earned as a team effort from faculty, staff, residents, health-care partners, graduates and our students through strong leadership and tireless collaboration.

August 31, 2015 Siblings Eric and Dora Habib made history at the 2015 White Coat Ceremony, representing the strong link between the medical and dental fields. Along with 258 of their classmates, the pair entered their respective programs at the School’s first combined ceremony. First-year Schulich Medicine students also participated in Community Day this month, experiencing health care in rural and regional settings. April 14, 2015 After months of planning and preparation, the 2015 UME Accreditation is coming to a close. The UME program is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS).
April 02, 2015 As part of the Integration & Transition (I&T) course, fourth-year students were required to participate in a Group Research Project (either completion of a research proposal or formulating and answering a clinical question), which culminated today in the presentation of their research. The group research project was designed to provide an opportunity for students to actively engage in a research-related activity on a topic that is of interest to them at this time and potentially throughout their years in residency.
