MEDICI co-leads Utstein Meeting on Indicators and Reporting Criteria for Surgery, Obstetrics and Anaesthesia Patient Safety

The Utstein Meeting on Indicators and Reporting Criteria for Surgery, Obstetrics, and Anaesthesia Patient safey took place June 16-18 in Ustein Abbey, Norway. It included 36 designated international experts from the WFSA, World Bank, IMHE, WHO, and UN Statistics Commission. The goal of the meeting was to refine exisiting indicators and reporting criteria on patient safety (in surgery, obstetrics and anaesthesia) to reinforce and clarify the global indicators and determine next steps for disseminating and collecting additional data on the indicators and reporting criteria.
