CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Clinics: Part-Time Community Dentists or Faculty Opportunity

Schulich Dentistry, Western University, is currently accepting applications for part-time Community Dentists or Faculty with consulting privileges to work in the Undergraduate Schulich Dental Clinics. Successful candidates will hold an academic appointment at the rank of Adjunct Clinical Professor in Dentistry.

The contract period(s) are October 2014 to April 2015 and May to June 2015 at Schulich Dentistry Clinics. Available contract hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and/or 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Requirements include a Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) license and must be a member in good standing with the RCDSO, 3 to 5 years of experience within a dental office. Candidates must possess the ability to work within a collaborative team-based teaching environment. Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

Primary responsibilities include clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students during the provision of patient care. There are also opportunities for instructors in the preclinical laboratories.

Salary will be paid per session (plus 6% vacation pay).
