Mathews Health Services Research Lab
The Mathews Health Services Research Lab focuses on quantitative and qualitative health services, systems and policy research, mainly within primary health care.
Dr. Mathews leads a program of research on primary health care with interconnecting themes of the health workforce; the organization, integration, and delivery of care; and health care in rural communities. Her research has been supported by peer reviewed grants from tri-council, national, provincial, and university funding agencies. Dr. Mathews leads research teams which include distinguished researchers from across Canada, as well as policy makers from provincial health systems and Canadian health professional organizations.
