Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day - June 1, 2016

Please join us for the Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day  June 1, 2016 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The conference is hosted by the INSPIRE-PHC Research Program (Dr. Moira Stewart, lead).

The following speakers have been confirmed:

Keynote Lecture - Richard H Glazier MD, MPH and Elizabeth Baker NP-PHC, will be discussing the report “Patient Care Groups: A new model of population based primary health care for Ontario” and its relevance to new PHC policy directives.

Distinguished Lecture -  Lisa Dolovich, PharmD  MSc HRM, McMaster University, Noah Ivers MD PhD, Women's College Hospital, and Clare Liddy MD MSc, University of Ottawa, Bruyere Research Institute will be providing a joint presentation on the results of their recent PHC innovations in delivery of care.  The talk is entitled "Integration in PHC: Lessons learned from three innovations."

As well there will be over 40 poster/oral presentations on recent/ongoing research in the Primary Health Care field. This event is focused on Ontario based research and innovation and provides an important forum for exchanging ideas and networking with PHC researchers from multiple disciplines across Ontario.

A reminder that we are encouraging researcher/patient or public advisor co-presentations this year.  So, if you have been/are involved in a project that includes patient/public input, please consider this opportunity to include your patient/public members in sharing your work.
