Dr. Joanna Walters honoured with 2025 Family Medicine Resident Scholarship for Western University
The Department of Family Medicine would like to congratulate Dr. Joanna Walters on being selected to receive the 2025 Family Medicine Resident Scholarship for Western University. This is a joint program of the CFPC and FAFM through the generosity of MD Financial Management and Scotiabank.
The Family Medicine Resident Scholarships recognize the leadership abilities of outstanding senior family medicine residents from each of the 17 Canadian family medicine residency programs.
The award will be presented at the Together 2025: Celebrating Learners, Teachers and Researchers event on Thursday, November 6, 2025, which occurs during the CFPC’s Family Medicine Forum (FMF), taking place November 5 to 8, 2025, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
