Based on the results of our Faculty Development Needs Assessment, and substantial evidence from other universities, we have revamped your Western Family Medicine Faculty Development Program. Faculty Development: Revised and Revamped was presented by Dr. Stephen Wetmore, Leslie Boisvert, and Lauren Siegel on September 13, 2017.

What is Faculty Development?

Faculty development assists and supports clinical faculty in the roles of educator, administrator, researcher, leader, and clinician.

Why is Faculty Development Important?

Faculty development facilitates personal and professional growth, aids in the building of a community, and encourages the commitment to self-directed and lifelong learning.
