Family Medicine Grand Rounds - The 20 Telehealth Lessons I Learned from the Primary Technology Enhanced Care (PTEC) Project

Join us for Grand Rounds in Family Medicine on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. This session will be presented in-person at the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine building, 1465 Richmond Street, London, Room 1150, and also via Microsoft TEAMS (webinar).

Prof (Dr) Gerald Koh Choon Huat, Head & Clinical Director (Future Primary Care), MOH Office for Healthcare Transformation, will present, "The 20 Telehealth Lessons I Learned from the Primary Technology Enhanced Care (PTEC) Project."

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The general principal learning objectives for the overall Grand Rounds in Family Medicine program are:

  1. Identify, discuss and appraise pertinent and relevant clinical family practice guidelines and literature;
  2. Identify and discuss current evidence supporting treatment of common conditions in primary care; and
  3. Discuss challenges family medicine physicians face in their current practices.

 

Session learning objectives:

At the conclusion of these Grand Rounds, participants will be able to

  1. Evaluate the Primary Technology Enhanced Care (PTEC) programme for hypertensive patients; and
  2. Assess the lessons learned from scaling PTEC to all public large group practice primary care clinics known as polyclinics.

Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent participating in the educational program.
