Deric Morrison MD, MHPE, FRCPC, Department of Medicine (Division of Endocrinology), will present, "Subclinical and Overt Hypothyroidism: Diagnosis and Treatment."
Session learning objectives:
- Describe the evidence for managing subclinical hypothyroidism;
- Describe the half life and action of levothyroxine as it relates to treatment of hypothyroidism; and
- Describe when combination therapy might be considered for hypothyroidism.
