Session Learning Objectives:
- Understand the unique properties and uses of ketamine.
- Critically analyze literature examining the use of ketamine in the context of pain, anxiety and depression, especially in the palliative care setting.
- Appreciate the current and potential role of ketamine in alleviating pain, anxiety and depression in those with life-limiting illnesses.
