Palliative Care Journal Club – Narrative Medicine & Reflective Practice in Palliative Care: An Exploration and Workshop

Join us on Thursday, November 21, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for this month's Palliative Care Journal Club. held at St. Joseph’s Hospice of London, London Life Community Room, on the 3rd Floor of the Sisters of St. Joseph’s Building (485 Windermere Road, London, Ontario).

Kyra Harris-Schulz, MDCM CCFP (PC), will present, Narrative Medicine & Reflective Practice in Palliative Care: An Exploration and Workshop.

Learning objectives:

  1. To explore the affordances of Narrative Medicine and Reflective Practice in the field of palliative care.
  2. To consider the importance of story to patients, loved ones, and care providers in the palliative setting.
  3. To engage in praxis through collaborative participation in a series of narrative and reflective exercises.
