Indigenous MedLINCs Summer Elective Program
Indigenous MedLINCs is a six-week summer elective program through Schulich Medicine Distributed Education that places medical students with the Chippewas of Nawash and Saugeen First Nation communities in the Grey-Bruce region.
In collaboration with the Nawash Community Health Centre and the Mino Bimadsawin Health Center in Southampton, programming incorporates health care focused activities, field trips and traditional summer camp fun including casting, suturing, mock disasters, wilderness first aid, Georgian College and Western Mini-tours.

Our office is working closely with our community partners to monitor the impacts of COVID-19 and follow local health authority recommendations. For the Indigenous MedLINCs program we have made the decision to maintain the dates to deliver this program. We also wish to communicate that this program may be cancelled pending further information from local health authorities. More information will become available in the coming weeks.
