Abstract Submissions

  • ALL abstracts are accepted and expected to be presented at Resident Research Day as a poster presentation.  From the submitted abstracts there will be 9 selected to give an oral presentation instead of putting up a poster.
  • The abstract must be submitted online and no more than 250 words.
  • Those individuals who had an assigned research elective are required to submit an abstract of their accomplishments.
  • You can submit a maximum of two abstracts. If two abstracts are submitted, only one abstract will be selected for judging as a poster or oral presentation. The other may be shown as a display only poster, but will not be judged. If you could please indicate (send Lauri Cameron an email) which abstract you would like to have judged and which abstract you would like to have for display only.
  • Be sure you submit a final version of your abstract. Once submitted your abstract cannot be revised. If you're waiting for your data submit your abstract now! Contact Lauri Cameron to tell her you will have your data later and we will revise the program to include your data as long as you get it submitted by email no later than May 13th.  It's easier to withdraw your poster from Resident Research Day then it is to miss the abstract submission date and not be able to present this year!
  • Abstracts submitted by faculty members will not be judged or given awards.  Their abstracts will be assigned poster "Display Only" locations throughout the venue.
  • An automatic confirmation email will be sent to you. If you do not receive an email at the email address you provided on the abstract submission form please contact Lauri Cameron at 519-663-3584 or Lauri.Cameron@lhsc.on.ca.
