Saif Matti elected as president of the Federation of Canadian Dentistry Student Associations
At the 2021 Annual General Meeting for the Federation of Canadian Dentistry Student Associations (FCDSA), Saif Matti, Dentistry Class of 2022, was appointed as President for the 2021-2022 academic year.
As President, Matti will be a voice for students from Canada’s 10 dental schools. Working alongside the FCDSA executive team, he will lead the work to foster a national community of dentistry learners and further the organization’s vision of advocating for the promotion of accessible, optimal dental education and patient care.
“I am very honoured and proud to represent Western University in my new role,” Matti shared. “I am very proud of this, not only for myself but for our entire school.”
Matti is the second learner from the School to be elected to FCDSA President, and the first since 2013.
