Schulich Dentistry Recognized by the International Association for Dental Research

The Salivary Research Group/International Association for Dental Research (IADR) offers three annual research awards for the most innovative abstracts submitted to the IADR 2015 conference.

This year, representatives of Schulich Dentistry were awarded three prestigious international awards:  

Wrigley Basic Salivary Research Award for a Dental or Non-Dental Student ($2,000):  Yuliya  Mulyar - Anti-cariogenic Effect of a Novel Encapsulation System for Salivary Proteins  

Wrigley Clinical Salivary Research Award for Dental Scientists ($1,500):  Eduardo Moffa  - Identification of Histatin 5 Complexes using Mass Spectrometry 

2015 IADR Colgate Research in Prevention Travel (based on research abstract) - Yuliya  Mulyar

Dr. Walter Siqueira will give the keynote address from the cariology research group at the IADR conference:  Salivary Proteomics for Diagnostic and Therapeutic in Cariology on Wednesday, March 11, 1:30 p.m.
