Presentation: “Oral Care Concerns with Cannabis Use”
On behalf of DART (Dental Academic Research Trainees group) Dr .B. Lail will be presenting a seminar about “Oral Care Concerns with Cannabis Use” .
With the recent legalization of cannabis in Ontario, come out and listen about how this drug impacts the oral cavity and the associated consequences of dental care, informed consent, and patient management.
Dr. Lail will be an overview of oral manifestations of cannabis use and the effects that different types of cannabis have on the oral environment. Also he will be covering dental management aspects, such as implications with informed consent and drug-drug interactions and how cannabis affects patients’ management.
