You are an accomplished and committed physician who is considering or have been appointed to a leadership role within your health care organization or practice group. In your new role as a physician leader, you are now expected to understand and apply management concepts (such as strategic planning, financial statement analysis, cost accounting and business plan development) that were not taught in medical school or your postgraduate training.

At the end of this program, participants will be able to:

This joint offering from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and the Ivey Business School will provide participants with practical ways to incorporate strategic and financial concepts into enhancing health care delivery. This course presumes no prior exposure to finance or business management concepts.
