Keeping up-to-date on Schulich Medicine & Dentistry operations

As a way to keep our faculty, staff and students informed on the state of the School, Chief Operating Officer, Dwayne Martins and Dr. Michael J. Strong, dean, hold town hall presentations throughout the year.

Recently, two Town Hall presentations were held to update the School community on the achievements, current activities and future plans of the various operational areas that make up the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.

The first Town Hall, held January 24, featured presentations from Mady Hymowitz, director, Research; John Ruicci, director, Education; and Jan New, executive director, faculties and divisions, Alumni Relations and Development.

The second Town Hall, held February 13, had Elana Whelan, consultant, Human Resources; Kevin Inchley, senior consultant, Facilities; Sergio Rodriguez, manager, Network Services; and Dale Shelley, director, Project Management Office presenting updates from Human Resources, Space and Facilities, Information Services, the Project Management Office and Strategic Technology Commons.

Save the date for a third Operations Town Hall, happening June 4 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in Dental Sciences Building, Rm. 1002. Jennifer Parraga, associate director, Communications & Marketing, and Rosemary Hicks, associate director, Finance, will present achievements, current activities and future plans from their respective departments. The June 4 Town Hall will be videoconferenced to MEB 1115 in Windsor, and livestreamed on the School's home page.
