Bio Sketch

Dr. Sachiko Takahashi earned a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on Chemistry in British Columbia. Her medical degree and Neurological training followed at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Takahashi then completed a neuromuscular fellowship at Western University. In 2019, she joined the CNS department as an adjunct professor. Dr. Takahashi holds certification in electromyography through the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists.

Neuromuscular Disorders, Autonomic Disorders


Dr. Takahashi is currently involved in several Clinical trials for CIDP, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS. She has been involved in a prospective study of photophobia in Myasthenia gravis, and retrospective studies of CIDP associated with paraproteinemia, and electrophysiologic characteristics of Hereditary Neuropathies with Liability to Pressure Palsies.
