Bio Sketch

Dr. Markovic holds an undergraduate and Master’s degree in Physiology from Western University. She attained her MD from the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Dr. Markovic returned to Western University to complete her Residency training in Neurology. She joined the Department as an Adjunct Professor in 2017.

She is a member of the Canadian Medical Association, the Ontario Medical Association, the American Academy of Neurology and the Canadian Neurological Sciences Foundation.


Dr. Markovic is currently involved in a retrospective analysis of patterns of non-invasive ventilation use in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Medical Interests

Dr. Markovic is practicing general neurology.
