Setting up your PIN

How it works

Setting up your Personal Identification Number (PIN) allows you to complete an assessment form at the point of contact with a trainee.

  1. Discuss with the trainee which EPA to do
The exception is an ad hoc EPA in which the task/EPA could not have been predicted to be done, e.g. an EPA for resuscitation
  2. *Discuss with the trainee how much of the assessment form they will complete
It is not acceptable to have the entire form completed by the trainee and then you simply enter your PIN to submit the form without any discussion or feedback given to the trainee
  3. The trainee logs into Elentra and triggers the assessment in Elentra
  4. The trainee might complete portions of the form, depending on item #2, passes their mobile device to you
  5. You complete portions of the form, review it, give feedback, and submit it by using your PIN

The key difference is that assessors do NOT need to log into their Elentra account.
