Dr. Lorne J. Gula, MD, MSc, FRCPC
Associate Professor, Division of Cardiology
Dr. Gula is a Cardiologist specializing in arrhythmia management at Western University. He completed medical school at University of Ottawa in 1997, with subspecialty training in Cardiology in London, Ontario and Arrhythmia Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
He has been on staff since 2005 and specializes in clinical management of heart rhythm disturbances with special interest in catheter ablation and device implantation. Research interests include management of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and prevention of sudden death. He has been involved with authorship of 177 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Gula completed a Master of Science in Epidemiology degree at Harvard University in 2005 and is a Heart and Stroke Foundation researcher.
