Dr. Murray Huff receives AHA's Mentor of Women Award
Dr. Huff, Depts. of Biochemistry and Medicine, was honoured with The Mentor of Women Award for 2020 from the American Heart Association. His former women trainees nominated him.
The citation for the award reads as follows:
"Murray Huff received the 2020 ATVB Mentor of Women Award. This award is presented annually to a member of Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology Council of the American Heart Association and recognizes exceptional support of the careers of women in the fields of arteriosclerosis, thrombosis and vascular biology on an individual and global basis through mentoring and advocacy. The award was presented at the Vascular Discovery: From Genes to Medicine meeting (virtual) on May 5, 2020."
