Dr. Litchfield honoured with Departmental award

A reception was held on 19 Jan 2018 for Dr. David Litchfield, Vice Dean of Research & Innovation at Schulich, to thank him for his contributions as Chair of Biochemistry from 2007-17.
A new award has been named in his honour: “The D. W. Litchfield Undergraduate Biochemistry Award” for BIOC 3381 and 3382. It is to be awarded annually to a Biochemistry Honors Specialization Student with the highest combined average in Biochemistry 3381 (Biological Macromolecules) and Biochemistry 3382 (Biochemical Regulation).
