I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Shannon Venance, MD, PhD, FRCP(C), to the position of Director of Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) Implementation.

In this new role, Dr. Venance will work with residency programs, program directors, clinical departments and the Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) Office to facilitate the transition of our postgraduate training programs to a CBME framework.
