Monday, November 7, 2011

Family physicians as well as family medicine residents can now take advantage of the Health Canada funded Emergency Medicine Residency Program to obtain a CFPC Certificate of Special Competence in Emergency Medicine. This full 12-month program offers enhanced training to support practice in rural and remote communities and focuses on preparing participants to provide services in underserved communities in Ontario.

The positions require a two-year return of service in a ministry-designated LHIN for each faculty/school.
