GENERAL INFORMATION
SWOMEN has recruited more than 400 Faculty Appointed preceptors in the network. Faculty are practicing family doctors and specialists, who have community practices in addition to strong academic medical interests.
In 2003-2004, two SWOMEN Windsor faculty members received Teacher of the Year Awards from The University of Western Ontario. In 2005, a faculty member received the PAIRO Teacher of the Year Award. This demonstrates the high calibre of teaching provided by SWOMEN adjunct faculty.
