FACULTY DEVELOPMENT MINI-FELLOWSHIPS

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry offers Faculty Development Mini Fellowships for Schulich Faculty.  The objective for the Mini Fellowships is to provide career development grants, designed so faculty members can acquire new knowledge and skills allowing them to better achieve their academic mission and individual career goals.  A limited number of competitive fellowships are available each year on a bi-annual basis.  For more information on how to apply for a Mini-Fellowship please contact Continuing Professional Development.  

 

INSTRUCTIONAL INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT FUND (IIDF)

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry offers the Instructional Innovation and Development Fund (IIDF) for Western Faculty as a source of funding for both students and faculty who wish to develop teaching materials relevant to curricula offered in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry's educational programs.  The objective of the IIDF is to foster and encourage the development of technologically innovative methods for teaching, which fulfill a current perceived need and, which can be immediately implemented.  This competition is annual with the deadline for application in October.  If you consider submitting an application with the requested supporting documentation, please review the guidelines at the Continuing Professional Development.

 

FACULTY SUPPORT FOR RESEARCH IN EDUCATION GRANTS (FSRE) 

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry offers Faculty Support for Research in Education Grants (FSRE).  These grants are intended for the promotion and facilitation of Scholarship in Education at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry.  All faculty members within the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry are eligbile to apply.  Guidelines and application  information are available through Continuing Professional Development.
