MedQUEST* PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES
MedQUEST Health Career Exploration Program is designed to provide secondary school students (currently in grades 10 or 11) in Southwestern Ontario with realistic, hands-on experience in a wide variety of health care disciplines. While MedQUEST is packed with medical and health related activities, there will also be plenty of time for fun. Special social events also highlight the program agenda.
Past programs included many of the topics and activities listed below. This year, MedQUEST will again offer a similar experience for participants.

Early exposure to the practice of medicine can help influence students career plans, ultimately increasing their chance of successfully entering medical school or other health care professions. Our goal is to encourage and prepare students for their future in a fun, creative and innovative ways.
We hope that the MedQUEST experience will allow secondary school students to:
- Explore a variety of careers and opportunities in health care, in the Southwestern Ontario rural region
- Learn from and work closely with their local health care professionals, and the medical student advisors from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry
- Increase their awareness of personal interests, values and the skills needed in relation to health careers
