FACULTY DEVELOPMENT
SWOMEN preceptors have access to many accredited courses through Schulich's Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
A wide range of Faculty Development seminars are offered in London and throughout Southwestern Ontario communities varying from computer applications to workshops on “Confronting and Assisting the Failing Clinical Learner."

In 2011, SWOMEN supported accredited preceptor talks offered by SWOMEN Family Medicine Academic Directors Dr. George Kim and Dr. Eric Wong. These talks were held in in Chatham(pdf), Listowel(pdf), St. Thomas(pdf), Sarnia,(pdf) Seaforth(pdf), and Stratford(pdf), with more locations planned for 2012.
