Matthew Teeter receives CIHR New Investigator Award

Congratulations to Dr. Matthew Teeter, Assistant Professor, Affiliated Institute Scientist, on receiving CIHR's New Investigator Salary Award. The award is for a total of $300,000 in salary funding for five years.

Dr. Teeter's research project "Image-based evaluation of orthopaedic devices and surgical procedures" focuses on developing new techniques to measure hip and knee implant wear using high resolution CT scanning (micro-CT) for preclinical imaging, and video x-rays (fluoroscopy) for clinical imaging.
