The Department of CNS is a founding member of the STAR project for clinical academics at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, with all 38 of it's Clinical Academics participating. In the Department of CNS, STAR is used for creating various reports and documentation, including:

- 'Academic Promotion' documents
- MBR supporting documentation
- Research Data for the Annual Report
