Dr. Sandrine deRibaupierre selected to attend Young Physicians Leaders' Program

Congratulations Dr. Sandrine de Ribaupierre, associate professor, Clinical Neurological Sciences, on being chosen to attend the Interacademy Medical Panel (IAMP) 3rd Young Physicians Leaders' (YPL) Program in Berlin, October 18 - 23, 2013.

The YPL Program identifies outstanding young physician leaders nominated by IAMP members. Successful candidates are selected given their ability to show great promise for leadership in their chosen careers.

Nominated because of her commitment to excellence as a clinician, educator and researcher, Dr. de Ribaupierre has been recognized as a role model and leader. Dr. de Ribaupierre has been involved in leadership at the local, national and international level including her work at the Choray Hopsital in Vietnam to assist in the development of an epilepsy program.

An active member of many boards, including the Medical Advisory Board for the Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario and the European Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery, Dr. de Ribaupierre has established herself as an outstanding leader.

As a selected candidate, Dr. de Ribaupierre will attend the YPL Program, in conjunction with the World Health Summit. The YPL Program is articulated in two parts: a leadership development workshop, October 18, and participation in the World Health Summit, October 20 - 23.
