Award presentations at convocation

Several of our faculty and one of our students received special recognition at this morning's convocation. Dr. Jane Rylett was presented as a Distinguished University Professor.

Dr. Anita Woods was presented with The Marilyn Robinson Award for Excellence in Teaching.

BMSc graduate Jennifer Trung was presented with The Honourable G. Howard Ferguson Award by the Chancellor.

Dr. Jack Bend was conferred the status of Distinguished University Professor Emeritus.

Dr. Tutis Vilas was conferred the status of Professor Emeritus.

We would also like to congratulate Samantha Hershenfeld who graduated with an Honors Specialization in Medical Sciences, for recieving the Governor General's Academic Award.
