Dr. Tom Miller receives top CAPM&R award

Congratulations to Dr. Tom Miller on receiving the Award of Merit, the highest award given out at the Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Annual Meeting in Montreal. The award recognizes outstanding contributions by a member in service, education or research.

Schulich Medicine and Dentistry's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation had a fantastic showing from other members as well:

Dr. Robert Teasell was awarded the "Paper of the Year" by the Scientific Program Committee.

Dr. Eldon Loh was awarded "Best Poster" - Review Category.

Dr. Daniela Lanc, PGY4, "2nd Place Poster" - Review Category

Dr. Ricardo Viana, PGY5, "2nd Place Poster" - Case Study Category

Dr. Heather MacKenzie, PGY2, "Best Oral Defense" in Poster Competition
