Student volunteers needed for Discovery Day

The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame / TD Discovery Day in Health Sciences is looking for volunteers to help out on Friday, May 3. Area high school students will be exploring careers in medicine and other sciences via a keynote lecture, interactive workshops and discussion with a panel of experts. Help is needed with event day setup/check-in, guiding students to and from their workshops (taking place across the Western campus including Elborn College, University Hospital, Robarts and Lawson - St. Joseph), and setup/coordination of lunch. The hub of our day is the North Campus Building. A volunteer orientation meeting will be held on Thursday, May 2 at 4:15 p.m. in the dean's conference room of the Western Sciences Centre for those who can attend.
