Graduate Student research excellence rewarded

Tuesday, June 5, 2012

Ten outstanding graduate students will represent the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and Western University at the upcoming Canadian Student Health Research Forum at the University of Manitoba. Their journey to Manitoba began with their research presentations at the London Health Research Day and continued with the awarding of top marks from a group of senior academics for oral presentations on their work.

The Research Forum provides a venue for health research trainees across Canada to present their work, to network with their peers from across the country, and be recognized for the excellence of their contributions. It features research poster days, awards of excellence, tours, social events, and a symposium on a cross-disciplinary scientific theme by some of the world's leading scientists in that field.

The School congratulates Henry Dunn, Di Chen, Christine Bell, Eli Gibson, Ana Luisa Trejos, Alysha Croker, Christina Raykha, Gurjeev Sohi, Nicole Novielli, and Matthew Meyer.

The Canadian Student Health Research Forum will take place on June 11 -12.
