London Health Research Day

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry has partnered with the Lawson Health Research Institute to host London Health Research Day 2012 at the London Convention Centre. By combining the Margaret Moffat poster competition and the Lawson platform competition, London Health Research Day promises more opportunities for collaboration, presentation, and recognition.

Keynote speaker, Dr. Jon Stoessl is a Professor and Head of the Division of Neurology at the University of British Columbia and holds a Canada Research Chair in Parkinson's Disease. He is the Director of both the Pacific Parkinson's Research Centre and the National Parkinson Foundation of Canada Center of Excellence. He is a world leader in research pertaining to Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and movement disorders, and is a member of the Order of Canada, as well as a University of Western Ontario alumnus.

*Eligibility Requirements: The following students are eligible to submit their abstracts to London Health Research Day:
•Lawson trainees in the following capacities: undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral scholars, and or;
•Schulich students in the following capacities: medicine and dental undergraduate, graduate, residents, postdoctoral scholars, clinical fellows*
*Clinical fellows are eligible to submit research that is hypothesis-driven only. Chart reviews are not eligible for submission.
