Dr. Tom Freeman was quoted in the National Post in a story on how family medicine might be unintentionally “bad-mouthed” in medical schools.
Some of our students were commended for volunteering with the Alzheimer Society in a London Free Press column by Bill Brady.
The Globe and Mail did an in depth story in its February 26th paper on the “thrifty gene” which featured Dr. Robert Hegele and Dr. Steward Harris. Dr. David Bailey was in the same issue in “Collected wisdom” which tackled the subject of grapefruit juice affecting medications.
The Windsor Star carried an editorial on February 26th about ER wait times featuring a photo with Schulich trainees.
Adrian Owen was quoted in the Washington Post reacting to a study which found many locked-in syndrome patients were happy. He also appeared on The Agenda with Steve Paikin and in Ian Gillespie’s column in the London Free Press
Dr. Jorge Burneo and Robert Bartha were in the Winnipeg Free Press and on A news announcing that the 7T MRI at Robarts Research Institute is now being used for clinical studies. They were also featured in Western News.
