Graduate Biosciences Open House at Western

The Graduate Biosciences Open House takes place in the foyer of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry’s Medical Sciences Building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  

Prospective graduate students will have an opportunity to meet faculty regarding research opportunities in the following programs:  

Anatomy & Cell Biology 

Biochemistry 

Biomedical Engineering 

Developmental Biology 

Epidemiology & Biostatistics 

MD/PhD Program

Medical Biophysics 

Microbiology & Immunology 

Neuroscience

Pathology 

Physiology, Pharmacology & Toxicology

Immediately afterward, join Western's Graduate Studies Showcase 2007 from 1-4 p.m.  Attend presentations, talk one-on-one with campus representatives and get a taste of current research projects. 

The day’s events and sessions will be held in the University Community Centre’s Atrium, McKellar Room and gyms.

1:30 First campus tour 

1:45 Applying to Graduate School session – McKellar Room

2:00 Second campus tour  

2:30 Tips for finding/selecting a supervisor – McKellar Room

3:00 Third campus tour 

3:15 Applying for an external scholarship – McKellar Room

3:30 Fourth campus tour  

4:00 End of showcase
