Dr. Suzanne Bernier Memorial

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry is mourning the loss of a dedicated
researcher and teacher. Dr. Suzanne Marie Bernier was 41 years old. Her husband, Jeff Regan says Suzanne passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, after a long battle with breast cancer, that she fought with great strength and determination.
She died at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital on Thursday, May 3rd, 2007.

Suzanne was a valued member of the CIHR Group in Skeletal Development and Remodeling. Through her research, she contributed to advancing knowledge in
musculo-skeletal health and arthritis and to training of future
scientists.

Friends and family will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home,
362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Monday evening from 7-9
o'clock and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Prayers Tuesday evening at
8:30 o'clock.

Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 777 Valetta Street on Wednesday
morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the "Dr. Suzanne
Bernier Memorial Fund" c/o Donna Swanson, Foundation Western, Rm 11,
Alumni Hall, UWO, London, Ontario, N6A 5B9 (cheques payable to Foundation
Western).
