Welcome, from the MPH Class of 2015!

Looking for a unique graduate experience that will set you apart from other MPH students in Canada? Western’s interfaculty program in Public Health offers a graduate experience that is designed to advance your critical thinking, leadership, and interpersonal skills within the field of Public Health.

The case-based approach encourages students to think outside the box, and apply concepts to real-life situations and contexts. The structure and variety of courses create an opportunity to understand and appreciate approaches to Public Health from all ends of the spectrum. Upon entering our three-month practicum placements, the experiences from this past year have prepared us to use our skills in various professional settings in Canada and abroad.

Certainly, the most unique feature of the program is its diversity. Sharing a classroom with other likeminded people eager to learn about tackling issues in Public Health is a remarkable experience. Daily interactions with individuals from all around the world, with diverse professional and academic backgrounds, helped to further the calibre of discussion and brought together a number of different perspectives.

If you are a prospective MPH student who values teamwork, applied learning, and diversity, this program is for you!
