Welcome to the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University. This is a research-intensive department, with a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in physiology, pharmacology and toxicology; our plans for future development are laid out in our Academic Plan 2012 - 2016.

Several pages of this website outline the research programs in which our faculty members and trainees are engaged, and the state-of-the-art laboratory facilities available.
