WPA Lecture Series: Ms. Katie Logan

The WPA welcomed back Ms. Katie Logan, MCISc 2012, Pathologists’ Assistant program on January 20, 2017. Katie gave a talk titled “The Road to Becoming a Pathologists' Assistant: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly”. It was well attended by undergraduate students interested in the PA program, current graduate students, faculty and staff. Katie detailed her varied interests as an undergraduate student and her path to joining our program. She candidly described life as a PA graduate student, and her current career as a PA in Kingston, Ontario. Katie gave invaluable advice regarding the application process, job interviewing skills, and how to transition from student to professional. The session was followed by a networking lunch for students. Many thanks to Katie for a great day!
