Canadian Ophthalmological Society meeting

Dr. Cindy Hutnik’s lab picked up a national research award at the Canadian Ophthalmological Society meeting held in Montreal from June 15-18, 2017.

The “Best Paper of the Canadian Glaucoma Society by a student” award went to a former fourth year Path/Tox student, Kelsey Watson for the journal article, Interaction of primary human trabecular meshwork cells with metal alloy candidates for microinvasive glaucoma surgery.  Kelsey is currently pursuing her educational goals at medical school in Toronto.
