Applying from High School

Students do not apply to the Undergraduate Program in Neuroscience from high school. Students will apply to enter the Honors Specialization in Neuroscience in Year 2. Neuroscience is identified as a subject of interest on the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) site under both Medical Sciences (ESM) and Science (ES) options. When applying students are asked to make a choice of subject area but this is only an indication of interest and not a guarantee of admission to the program in Year 2. Students entering Western through another faculty may still apply to the Honors Specialization in Neuroscience for Year 2 provided the first year admission requirements are satisfied.
